How to Order

Payment

You can pay by via Mastercard or Visa cards.

We use a secure Yahoo Business payment system utilising the highest SSL 128 bit encryption.

Shipping and Delivery

All of our Box Set items are hand-made, so standard delivery time is within 2 or 3 working weeks. Please note that working days exclude Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays.

Any delivery timescales are indicative only and cannot constitute a binding obligation with FamilyCrests.ca.

We are able to dispatch to an alternative address if you are ordering an item as a gift for someone else.

All orders are sent via Canada Post. If you require expedited shipping service please inform us at time of order and we will do our very best to accommodate you. Shipping prices are based on addresses in Continental North America only and all other countries will be shipped via International Air and we will inform you of the extra cost before shipping.

We strongly believe and pack every order the way we would like to receive it.

Policy Statement

FamilyCrest.ca attempts to keep all products in stock, but from time to time we do have to place some items on Back-Order. If this is the case we will contact you ASAP and inform you of the delay. When placing an order, please be aware that it is possible that your item may be out of stock and it could take a week (sometimes longer) to receive your order if we need to order items from Scotland etc. If you must have an item by a specific date, please indicate in the message /comment box when you place your on-line order. If this is a wedding or birthday gift and needs to be in your location by a special date Please let us know. We will do our very best to accommodate this request and will notify you if there is any delay or any extra express shipping charges before we charge your Credit Card for the extra express shipping charges.

Returns or Cancellation

We hope that you will be pleased with your purchases. Regrettably, due to the nature of the products being personalised, we are unable to offer exchanges or refund. This does not affect your other rights of course; if, upon delivery, you notice that any of the products in your order are damaged we will replace them. Contact us directly via email or phone so we can process the order.

Clan Crests, Coat of Arms and Corporate Logos

With many years of experience in the Family Crest business we would be foolish to assume a particular family name has only one Coat of Arms or Clan Crest. For this reason we would ask you to specify if you have a certain Coat of Arms, Clan Crest or Corporate Logo in mind for your order, please state in the comment section of your order form once your order has been processed. This is very important as once the artwork has been set we regret that cancellation of the order is not possible as we have not only prepared the artwork but your order is now in the production stage. NO EXCEPTIONS All of our Clan Crests and Septs have been approved by the Standing Council of Scottish Chiefs and our Coat of Arms is taken from Burke's General Armory by "Sir Bernard Burke C.B. L.L.D. 1842 " we regret, that we cannot be held responsible for any misunderstandings in the Clan Crest or Coat of Arms of your particular family name, if you do not request a particular Crest or Coat of Arms.

Name History (Boxed Sets)

On each boxed set that we produce we laser carve your name history on the inside panel of each lid. Due to recent copyright laws we use the original name history compiled by us using antiquarian books some of which are no longer in print and not subject to any copyright violations. We use the original grammar and spelling of the original document and may not meet with approval of modern day English but we do not wish to change history and will not edit the document.
